Due to the huge success of our previous charity events are holding various other events in the near future (details below of those currently confirmed) Music Gig Due to the huge success of the “Fundraising Gig Nights” we have set up another night of entertainment for all you music lovers. This event will be held at the Grinning Rat on Friday 6th June and will consist of one singer song writer, two bands and three Dj’s line up = Beeba, Caution Horses, Heyzuuz, Nicky Fingers, Saint or Sinner. The gigs are an ideal event to support Ipswich's musical talent and acts. The nights are lively and exciting and are for anybody who appreciates individuality, holds a sense of community or simply want to help others to lead better lives. So put this date in your diary and see you at the event Annual Ipswich Rotary Club Orwell Walk 08 - re-scheduled to September 7th The Orwell Walk was cancelled for June 8th due to the weather conditions. So we are now looking for people to take part on 7th September 08 instead. We hope to make this fundraiser a friend and family based event, so that children can take part and become part of the fundraising. You will be expected to walk 11 miles and collect sponsorship money for your efforts. All money raised goes directly to the Kenyan School and humanitarian camp aid. If you are interested in this event please e-mail us mail@kenyanschoolfund.org to request a sponsorship form (all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). £2.50 entry per adult £1.50 per child all entry fees must be in asap ... Ipswich Hospital Abseil 08 The School Fund currently has 19 dare devils taking part in the Ipswich Hospital Abseil 08. All competitors are expected to be very brave and abseil down the side of Ipswich Maternity block and raise sponsorship for the "Kenyan School Fund". All participants will be dressed as superheroes! So if you would like to witness this spectacle the abseil will be on Saturday 12th July and starts at 4pm. Quiz Night After the enormous success of the last quiz in March we have decided to run another are the same venue. The night will be a quiz and BBQ and costs £5.00 per ticket. Teams can be up to six players and will start at 7.30pm, Saturday July 19th at the Kirby Road Conservative Club. Tickets will sell out quickly so please contact us asap for your teams tickets. |
